What is Emulin ? Emulin Ingredients

EMULIN® is the world’s first carbohydrate manager. It is a patented blend of grape skin, onion skin and green coffee, minus the caffeine. It comes from Nobel Prize nominated research, using a sophisticated 3D modelling with super computers that searched all known databases of human enzyme systems and plant compounds found in nature.

EMULIN® puts back into your body what evolution intended to be a part of our diets, but modern agriculture and food processing mercilessly took out. Today, we eat too many carbohydrates especially the highly-refined types, like starch and sugar. As a result, we suffer from prolonged carbohydrate toxicity that causes inflammation which leads to almost all modern diseases.

EMULIN® is not intended to treat or cure any disease and should never be promoted as such

ATM Metabolics & Emulin Fact Sheet
Emulin is a natural, over-the-counter compound derived from fruits, such as grapefruits, grapes and berries.Emulin works with enzymes to metabolize carbohydrates and lower blood sugar levels.
Studies have shown Emulin to
slow the conversion of complex carbohydrates to simple sugars o reduce sugar absorption to the bloodstream while stimulating absorption to muscle tissue
slow down gluconeogensis by the liver
increase breakdown of lipids in fat tissue
increase insulin sensitivity by increasing glucose transporters in muscle tissue in the presence of insulin
block an insulin inhibitor called TNF alpha, which therefore increases insulin release from pancreatic tissue

The Scientists Behind Igalen Emulin

Emulin was discovered by Daryl Thompson, a food and bio-chemist, and Dr. Joseph Ahrens, former director of research for the Florida Department of Citrus, by studying the use of grapefruit as a weight loss tool.
In a study at Scripps Clinic in Calif., Dr. Ken Fujioka found that individuals lost weight without changing their diets and adding grapefruit juice, fresh grapefruit and dehydrated powdered grapefruit and decreased their insulin resistance
Ahrens & Thompson identified three phytochemicals that emulated insulin at various key enzymatic control points and increased insulin sensitivity in order to create Emulin

Initial pre-clinical trials on humans found that insulin resistance could be overcome, and fasting blood glucose could be reduced by 25%.

Eurofins Lab conducted a test on rats in 2007 and found that the area under the curve (AUC) blood glucose was reduced by 27%
Additional studies were done in 2008 by Cetero Research that shows that when used with Metformin, Emulin increased the other diabetes medication’s efficacy by ten-fold, and the AUC blood glucose level was reduced by 28%
ATM Metabolics believes Emulin can be added universally to food and beverages, much like folate in bread to prevent birth defects
Emulin can also be taken as a nutraceutical to manage weight, to treat, prevent and reverse diabetes and metabolic syndrome
Emulin is currently sold as  750 mg of  Igalen EMULIN®

Emulin Side Effects

Emulin does not have any adverse side effects, nor does ATM Metabolics predict any in
the future.

Emulin is different than fen-phen, synephrine and other anti-obesity supplements
because it does not increase metabolism; it works with the body’s natural
mechanisms to manage sugar.
